In partnership with MB Century, Tūaropaki Trust will again be looking to make a number of apprenticeship placements (to run from January 2025). This opportunity is open to Tūaropaki owners, descendants and beneficiaries of Whānau Trusts.
These placements are located in Taupō and are in:
- mechanical engineering
- fabrication engineering, and
- machining
Successful applicants will receive:
- A full Trust and MB Century induction;
- A paid apprenticeship;
- Targeted development opportunities; and
- Opportunities to reconnect to the Trust through events and initiatives.
To apply, applicants must:
- Meet the eligibility criteria;
- Complete and submit an application form:
- Complete and submit the required Owner Endorsement form: and
- Submit all required supporting documentation.
Applicants with no experience or basic knowledge will need to complete the one year foundational course (the NZ Certificate of Engineering Level 3). Commencement of an apprenticeship in January the following year is subject to successful course results and excellent attendance.
