Tūaropaki Trust (www.tuaropaki.com) is an Ahu Whenua Trust under the auspices of Te Ture Whenua Māori. There are more than 2,700 Owners, a mix of individuals, Whānau Trusts and Kaitiaki Trusts, all descended from the original Owners. The Trust is a kaitiaki for ancestral taonga and manages complex business interests in the food and energy sectors, with assets valued at approximately $1 billion.

Te tūranga | Your Role
The Team Co-ordinator – Corporate, People and Risk plays a pivotal role in supporting the effectiveness of Tūaropaki Trust’s governance and executive functions. Reporting into the Corporate, People and Risk team, this role provides high-quality coordination and administrative support to the Board, Executive Leadership Team, Chief Executive and wider organisation.
You will be central to the smooth operation of governance processes, executive meetings, schedules and deadlines, ensuring information flows efficiently and activities are well planned, organised and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate governance and management calendars, including agendas, paper deadlines, action tracking and uploading materials to governance systems.
- Plan and coordinate executive meetings, hui, conference calls and travel itineraries.
- Prepare, compile and format high-quality materials for meetings, reports, presentations, events and special projects.
- Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic and physical filing systems.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reporting.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.
